The latest reports claim that “Vampire Diaries” stars and ex-couple Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder became “very touchy” while working on the set of the CW TV series. “Twilight” actress Nikki Reed responds to the reported closeness of her fiancé with his TVD co-star and ex-girlfriend.

According to an exclusive Hollywood Life report, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder remain friends and close to each other after their break up in 2013. An unnamed source shared to the entertainment website that the 26-year-old actress walked in and sat next to Ian Somerhalder on the bench.

The source added that Nina immediately leaned her head on Ian’s shoulder after she sat down and the two just sat there for a couple of minutes until it was time for them to film their scenes. The report further revealed that the Nina-Ian “touchy” moment happened when the CW stars were working on “The Vampire Diaries” Season 6, episode 16 titled “The Downward Spiral.”

Nikki Reed is aware that her fiancé works with his ex-girlfriend in the CW Network’s supernatural drama series. However, the “Twilight” star does not seem to be bothered with Ian and Nina portraying TVD couple Damon and Elena.

Another anonymous source exclusively shared in another Hollywood Life report that the future Mrs. Ian Somerhalder is not worried or jealous. “She refuses to be jealous and until Ian does something wrong, which she doesn’t expect to ever happen, she will not distrust Ian at all,” the insider revealed.

The source further shared that Nikki Reed is aware that Ian Somerhalder directs the upcoming episode and the opportunity given to the 36-year-old heartthrob actor is an important one to him. Additionally, the 26-year-old “Twilight” star understands that her fiancé has to professionally work with Nina and completely supports Ian Somerhalder’s friendship with ex Nina Dobrev.

The fans can watch Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder as the “Delena” couple in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 6 which airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network. The supernatural drama series returns on Jan. 29 with episode 12 titled “Prayer For the Dying.”
