‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 spoilers: Paul Wesley reveals how Stefan will romance Caroline
Fans of the hit CW series, “The Vampire Diaries,” who are eager to see a more developed love story between the characters Stefan Salvatore and Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola-King) will be happy with the latest news about the show. Season 7 may feature romantic and sexy scenes between the two, given that actor Paul Wesley, who plays Stefan, revealed how his character intends to romance Caroline.
A segment at TVLine titled “askausiello” gave viewers an idea of Wesley’s Stefan’s seduction plan, when a fan named Carmen asked writer/TV journalist/actor Michael Ausiello about the subject. According to Ausiello, Wesley told him that Stefan will step us his romance game by being the “same loving guy he’s been for the past six seasons.” Putting aside the character’s “wild side” of “ripping people’s heads off,” Ausiello stated that it looks like the character will use on Caroline the “same tactics he did on Elena back in Season 1.”
Stefan’s seduction plan might not go easy though, added Ausiello, since Caroline will be struggling with her emotions and trying to do the “right thing” in Season 7 of “The Vampire Diaries.”
Ausiello explained, “Caroline wants to be with Stefan, but she’s also trying to do the right thing by herself, taking the time to mourn her mother’s death so she can enter into this relationship with a clean state and a free mind. The heart wants what it wants when it wants it, so we’ll see moments where’s she’s struggling, wanting to say something but not knowing what to say.”
Meanwhile, fans are also hoping to see a “Steroline” baby in Season 7, given Accola-King’s pregnancy. However, the actress had previously said that she’s unsure whether showrunners Julie Plec and Caroline Dries will add that element to the story to the upcoming season. Accola-King mentioned though that “The Vampire Diaries” characters Stefan and Caroline would be “quick parents” and even joked that the “vamp speed” would help with diaper changes.
Viewers of the CW series will need to check out the upcoming Season 7 to see just how effective Stefan’s seduction plans will be. “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 will premiere on Oct. 8 in the U.S.
