The multiplayer beta for “Uncharted 4” is officially underway. At this point, the “Uncharted 4” multiplayer beta has reached a new level of hype despite the issues that currently surround this run as more people jump in.

Already, fans are buzzing over forums on their experience with the “Uncharted 4” beta. Over at Reddit, fans are discussing their encounters, from the good graphics at beta stage to the most common issues seen among players.

“Got a few matches in this morning, I think it’s pretty good. It seems like U2’ multiplayer, even with magic item, they aren’t as horrible as I thought they would be,” said Redditor davidnayias.

Others who have tried the beta commented that the controls feel natural and fluid. Even for a beta run, the graphics are also pleasantly at par.

At the same time, there are also a number of fans who reported getting the “Error initializing session manager” message when they try to connect to the beta. There were also instances when players get kick out in the middle of matches. Other issues involves the inability to find other players to play in the multiplayer. Considering the popularity of the game and its multiplayer beta, it’s not surprise that there are a lot of people trying to get in, which could be causing some of the issues.

There is even some speculation that Naughty Dog may open the beta to everyone at the PlayStation Experience. The developer has not announced such a case, but other are hopeful that they can still get their hands on the beta. Currently, the only way to do this is through owning a copy of the “Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.”

GimmeGimmeGames also spotted a few fans discussing matchmaking issues during the “Uncharted 4” multiplayer beta. According to the report, a lot are voicing out their experiences in waiting for matchmaking to put them into battles. Sometimes the wait can be as short as 15 minutes, but there are those who have to wait for over an hour and a half to play.

The only way to deal with this now is to quit the game when loading time is taking too long. Again, this could boil down to the fact that the multiplayer beta for “Uncharted 4” has just started and there are already a lot of players who want in on the experience.

Outside of the beta, there is one interesting bit sighted by DualShockers. It appears to be a little sneak peek of a map that will be in the game. The source stated that the map has a night setting, though details of the map were not given yet. There may be more information coming for this weekend’s PlayStation Experience at San Francisco, California.
