If you think that you do not have enough money to travel to Tokyo but you have enough to let your favourite stuffed toy do, then it is time to contact the Unagi travel agency.

CNN Travel reports that it was from a Japanese news Web site that a story of a woman who runs a very unique travel agency was first told. It is recognised as unique, since it is the first ever travel agency that sends stuffed animals on a vacation package while their owners just stay behind at home.

Unagi Travel

Sonoe Azuma, 38, is the proud owner of the travel agency that organizes tours not only to Japan but also to US and Europe for stuffed toys. They are organising a tour this November within Tokyo to specific places like the Tokyo Tower, Asakusa and Shibuya. The cost for this particular tour? An affordable $45!

The travel agency has its own rules for plushophiliacs who can only send stuffed animals which weight is not more than 250 g. The owner caters a booking site set in English to help more people from around the world get a chance to see Tokyo through their own toy possessions.

Memories and Inspiration

Yahoo Travel wrote that several people who tried the tour for their stuffed toys became all the more inspired after the experience. Metro UK reported one woman, who had trouble walking due to an illness, sent her stuffed animal to journeys. Seeing her furry friend travel to different places motivated her to see those places herself in the future as well.

Others who have gone through sad experiences in life tried sending their stuffed toys to travel, too. They said that it made them happy to see their plush toys on tour. Many more said that it inspires them to do what their stuffed animals can did. The Examiner even added that stuffed animals even served as "hosts" in events to raise funds for charity.

What do you think? Is the idea of travelling stuffed toys ridiculous for a business or interesting enough to inspire?
