In Texas, residents of Gainesville and Austin reported their UFO sighting experience. The witnesses in Gainesville claim they spotted a triangle-shaped object flying over their area while those in Austin reported a square-shaped UFO with four lights up in the sky.

According to the My San Antonio report, the residents of Tyler Street in Gainesville saw the large, triangle-shaped object moving over their neighborhood on Thursday, June 26, at approximately 11 pm. The witnesses claim that the unidentified flying object was flying low over the area at the time of the UFO sighting.

"The lights were lined up horizontally, and then right before it disappeared, the lights instantly lined up vertically as if the object turned on its side and then sped away," the unnamed witness shared. As for the UFO sighting in Austin, the Open Minds report revealed that the one witness recounted spotting the square-shaped object also flying low in the area.

In this UFO sighting, the object had four lights and it sent out a low humming sound. The UFO sighting in Austin, Texas took place on Wednesday, June 25, at around 9:25 pm based on the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The details in the MUFON UFO sighting Case No. 57373 recounts how the unnamed witness spotted the UFO while driving westbound on a street in Austin, Texas. "I observed what appeared to be a square, low-flying object approaching me from the east. There were four unwavering lights, two red and two yellow. There was very little space between the lights, giving the appearance of a compact square. Strangely, it seemed that one of the sides was its leading edge, not one of the angles," the unnamed witness shared in the MUFON database.

The witness added that the unidentified flying object appeared to be approximately 300 feet in altitude and traveling at a speed around 25 mph. Initially, the witness though that the object spotted was a model airplane, a small aircraft or a drone.

"I kept searching my mind for an explanation but, having come up with nothing, decided to file this report," the witness shared. In the MUFON Web site, Texas currently has the UFO Alert Rating of 3 based on the system of five levels.

There were 30 UFO reports on the Lone Star State in May 2014, which is the fourth highest number of reports in the nation. The highest number came from California where 102 reports were filed also in May.
