UFO Sighting New York City: UFO Expert Explains Black UFO Spotted Over The Statue Of Liberty [WATCH VIDEO]

A recent UFO sighting experience has been shared on YouTube showing a mysterious black object moving over the Statue of Liberty in New York City. An expert gave an explanation as to what the object was in the video that the witness shared in the Web site.

The video got published on YouTube last Wednesday, Dec. 10. Scott Kensington posted on the video description that his wife and sister filmed the UFO sighting while they were visiting New York City.

"Sorry for the shaking. She said she was freezing from holding the camera for so long with no gloves. She also ran out of disc space hence why the footage suddenly stopped," Kensington explained in the video description. Scott Kensington further shared in the video description that the initial thought on the black object was a balloon but it suddenly stopped and then stayed in one place for a while.

In the video, the object slowly moves from right to left before appearing to be still while up in the air. According to a Mail Online report, UFO expert Nigel Watson explained that the black object in the video was most likely a solar balloon or a drone since the object "flies on a steady course."

The report noted down that heat makes the black solar balloon expand and rise up as it has a lower density than the surrounding air. At the moment, solar balloons are being used to perform some experiments up in the sky.

Meanwhile, Nigel Watson even speculated that the sighting may have been staged. The UFO expert described the appearance of the black object in the shared video to be suspicious since it moved directly behind one of the famous landmarks in the world. Click HERE to see photos.

"Solar balloons are cheap to make or purchase, and can be identified because they do not make sudden or erratic movements and travel at a regular speed," Watson explained. The UFO expert further pointed out that there are hoaxers out there that have used the helium-filled Mylar plastic solar balloons in South America in order to cause mass sightings or reports of UFOs.
