Transgender fan spends over US $100K to look like Kim Kardashian

With over 45 million followers on Instagram, a massive business empire and a successful reality TV show that is now on its 10th season, Kim Kardashian West is one of the most influential people in the world. One of her fans, a transgender makeup artist has reportedly spent over US $100,000 just to look like her.

According to the Mirror, Thalia Almodovar has spent copious amounts of money in order to become identical to the world-famous reality TV star. After transitioning into a woman in her teens, Almodovar got breast implants as well as a butt enhancement surgery, so that she could Mirror Kardashian’s prominent assets.

She also gets regular collagen implants on her lips in order to maintain a Kardashian-like pout. Apart from the plastic surgery, Almodovar also spend thousands of dollars on beauty treatments as well as an expensive wardrobe.

If she wants to look like Kim Kardashian, then she needs to keep up with the star’s expensive wardrobe. “I couldn’t see it at first but then I embraced it. I’d get preferential treatment in clubs and restaurants. People would mob me for selfies,” she said about being compared to Kardashian.

Despite being a Kardashian lookalike, Almodovar isn’t copying everything about Kim. At the moment, her Instagram profile is set to private. This is in stark contrast to Kardashian’s, which is a free-for all to the public. Kardashian is now the most followed person on the popular social media platform, with over 45 million followers. Almodovar’s Twittter also has very little activity with only three tweets as of this writing.
