Fans know Lady Sif is a Norse goddess and a warrior. She is also said to be the lover of Thor, who has accompanied him in several battles. Jamie Alexander's Lady Sif was last seen in 2013's "Thor: The Dark World." Her return to Asgard will only add more drama and may impact Thor and Jane Foster's romance. However, fans must note that these are mere speculations and actress and the studio haven't yet confirmed the return of the character in "Thor: Ragnarok."

Meanwhile, the buzz is that during the events of "Thor: Ragnarok" many major characters will bite the dust. Noting the events depicted in Norse mythology, Movie Pilot explains that if we go by the title of the movie Odin, Thor, Heimdall, and Loki are going to die.

The report explains that "'Ragnarok' is a series of future events, including a great battle foretold to ultimately result in the death of a number of major figures..." Furthermore, the storyline also includes various natural calamities that result in the "subsequent submersion of the world in water." However, this is not the end. The report notes that the world "resurfaces anew and fertile" and the gods will return to reunite and look over the world. However, it is yet to be revealed if the studio will stick to the "Ragnarok" storyline or not.

In November, HNGN reported that "the titular character, played by Chris Hemsworth, may not even be spared depending on how closely Yost chooses to adapt his screenplay from the "Ragnarok" comic book in which Thor dies." A massive battle between the two brothers leads to Thor's death.

"Ragnarok is the end of all things. What are we supposed to do, let people life?!" Christopher Yost, screenwriter for "Thor: Ragnarok" wrote on his Twitter account.
