“Thor: Ragnarok” is one of the much-awaited Marvel films. Though it is scheduled to be released on July 28, 2017, there is already buzz surrounding the film. Chris Hemsworth, who plays the lead role of Norse God Thor, recently spilled some interesting details about the new “Thor” instalment.

The actor revealed to Digital Spy that the stage will be set for the “Thor: Ragnarok” events in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” "It has to, doesn't it? Unless I was on the sidelines kind of waving,” he said.

Hemsworth did not reveal further details about the scene that will plant the seeds for “Thor: Ragnarok.” However, it is expected that there will be a scene between Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Heimdall (Idris Alba) and Thor which may set the events rolling for the next “Thor” instalment. Alba said in one of his previous interviews that he is doing a scene with Hemsworth and Hiddleston in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” reported Collider.

Moreover, film producer Kevin Feige also noted at one of the Marvel events that “Thor: Ragnarok” picks up right after “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” According to Collider, “Heimdall may call back Thor to Asgard during “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Hemsworth and Hiddleston are confirmed to return for “Thor: Ragnarok,” whereas Alba’s return is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth also said that the script of the film is yet to be finalised. “But also, there is no script for Thor, the next Thor, so I have no idea where we'll end up,” he said. The actor added that the “Thor: Ragnarok” will be one of the biggest films to come out from Marvel Studios.

“Thor: Ragnarok” is being written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost. The plot of the film will focus on Thor who must save Asgard from Ragnarok. According to Norse mythology, Ragnarok is a series of events, which leads to the death of the major characters including Odin, Thor and Heimdall. After the occurrence of various natural disasters, the world is submerged in the water. The world once again surfaces and the life starts from scratch.
