A teenager from Texas who claimed that he escaped death three times in spite of a deadly heart illness faced death at a Christmas night due to a heart attack. Before he died, he was able to post a two-part video on YouTube demonstrating his story and explaining a range of influential visions.

The video showed the 18-year-old Ben Breedlove from Austin resting in a room and making use of handwritten note cards telling his story. Breedlove endured from a sickness called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a heart ailment wherein one part is thicker compared to the others causing the difficulty for the organ to pump blood.

He explained escaping death three times, with the latest fright was Dec. 6. He fainted at school and woke up with EMS medics getting ready to use shock pads to wake him up.

The video he posted was titled "This is my story." Seven days later, on a Christmas night, he encountered a heart attack that took his life. As of today, the first part of the video has already been viewed over 476,000 times online.

"It was obvious to all of us that knew him that he knew what he was doing when he made that video. There are times that [the family is] overwhelmed by the pain and the loss of Ben, but then it's replaced with knowing that he was at peace with what was going to happen," said Pam Kohler, a close family of Breedlove.

Kohler said she was taught by Breedlove how to make and post videos to YouTube to promote or market her husband's business. Breedlove often comes to her house and goes hunting with her husband.

The teen has two famous YouTube channels, "OurAdvice4You" and "BreedloveTV." Both channels exposed so much about his life and his advices for his friends. His Facebook pages and YouTube channels were flooded with tributes.

"When you think of Ben, you can't help but smile. He was curious, creative. You never knew what he was up to. He was always full of surprises. We look on all of it as a gift from God through Ben," said Kohler.
