To end a conversation, say "whatever." The annoying word of "whatever" has been deemed the most irritating since the other year.

Words or phrases such as "like" and "you know" may be infuriating to hear, but not as galling as "whatever."

The yearly survey conducted by the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion revealed the most powerful word in annoying people. The institute has interviewed roughly 1,026 grown-up individuals through phone. The survey has resulted to a 3% margin of error.

The institute exposed that four out of ten people are convinced that "whatever" is the most annoying. The said word can easily kill casual discussions. One out of five interviewees claimed that the most exasperating would be the words "you know" and "like."

Other usual verbal fillers heard from casual conversations such as "seriously" and "just sayin" may also be quite annoying, but they can be pardoning to the ears.
