'Suits' season 6 episode 12 preview video: Harvey's old wounds open again

Two preview videos of “Suits” season 6 episode 12 have been released online. The scenes and the plot synopsis tease Harvey attempting to stitch an old wound, leaving Louis and the others in charge of the firm in his absence. There is also some good news on the Mike Ross storyline.

The first preview video [see below] shows Harvey (Gabriel Macht) meeting with his mother. He will attempt to patch things up, after his emotional state in the previous episode prompted Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) to make him address the real issue.

As the scenes from the next episode show, things will not be as easy as Harvey had hoped. It is not easy for the lawyer to forget the past, and the fans are in for some more intense interactions.

Marcus (Billy Miller) will also return this week. The young man wants to avoid an ugly confrontation that his brother is intent on having, but he may be helpless to prevent it.

The second preview video [see below] from “Suits” season 6 episode 12, shows the consequence of Harvey leaving to take care of his personal issues. Donna will approach Louis (Rick Hoffman) when one of the clients faces a problem.

In his anger, Harvey lashed out at Louis in the previous episode, something that the quirky lawyer will not forget in a hurry. The friction between the two is only expected to intensify in the coming weeks, but for now Louis decides to step up and help the firm, after Donna tells him Harvey has gone to see his mother.

With Harvey dealing with his personal issues and Louis fighting a personal battle against almost everyone to prove that he deserves respect, the firm continues to suffer. After signing a few new clients, the company is flush with cash. But if this mismanagement continues, the firm will soon face another crisis.

Meanwhile, according to the plot synopsis of the episode, Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams) gets help from an unexpected place. The character has been searching for a job, and in the previous episode Anita Gibbs (Leslie Hope) warned him not to work in a law firm again, even if it is a small one.

Another interesting storyline to look forward to is that of Rachel (Meghan Markle) as the new lawyer at the firm. Once Harvey deals with his personal issue, there is also scope for some romance with Donna.

“Suits” season 6 episode 12 is titled “The Painting.” It will air on Feb. 1 in the US. The show can be watched on Foxtel in Australia.
