The voice over in the recently released trailer of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” talks about the eyes of people the character has encountered in her life. The voice over is supposedly of Maz Kanata and a new report reveals why this specific dialogue is important.

[Spoiler alert]

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, the voice over of the recently released trailer of the movie is of Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong’o). The castle seen in the opening scene in the trailer is apparently on the planet Takodana, which is home to Maz. Director J.J. Abrams calls the castle her “watering hole.”

Maz was shown in a poster of the movie that was also released recently. The character is a small alien wearing goggles. The report reveals that the character wears goggles because her eyes have a “secret power.”

According to a report by MakingStarWars, one of the scenes in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” shows Maz killing a few Stormtroopers using her special powers that supposedly get activated when she removes her goggles. A concept art of the character apparently shows her “tinkering with crystals” and she is said to like a monk.

The report notes that Maz may not be a Jedi in the movie, even though she has powers and wisdom. “I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people. I see your eyes. I know your eyes,” Maz says in the trailer.

A better look of Maz has been revealed in a new leaked picture of a Lego toy of the character. Pictures posted on Star Wars Post gives a close up look at the character.

Meanwhile, a report by Daily Superhero suggests that it is possible that Finn may be the son of Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams). The report is based on a listing on Amazon by a seller who has made such a claim. It is, however, still not confirmed if Finn is in fact the son of Lando in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
