When Daisy Ridley was asked to tease one dialogue from “Star Wars: Episode 8,” she used the word “I” and said that it was a “big spoiler.” Now, the fans have theories about what dialogue this word could be a part of, and how it can be significant.

In an interview with Empire Magazine, Ridley (Rey) said the word “I” “sums up so many things.” She said that the word was actually “powerful” and a “big spoiler.” Taking cue from her explanation a video on the YouTube channel of Mike Zeroh looks at what it could mean.

Mike points out that the dialogue could be anything from “I Don’t want to be a Jedi” or about her wanting to leave the island. But, he believes that if this is a big spoiler, as Ridley says, it will be a part of the big twist that is expected in the film.

Since this is a sequel, a big plot twist is expected in “Star Wars: Episode 8.” The big shock in “Empire Strikes Back,” was Darth Vader saying “I am your father.” The iconic scene is something fans of the franchise remember to this day.

Commenting on the video, many of the fans came up with their own versions of what the dialogue will be. The fan theories ranged from something similar to the original trilogy to more hilarious takes.

One fan suggested this could be Rey saying “I do,” when Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) asks her to marry him. Another fan suggested that it could be Leia (Carrie Fisher) saying she is actually the grandmaster of the new Jedi Order. Some fans point to the theory about Rey being the reincarnation of Anakin (Hayden Christensen), and the dialogue could be her telling this to Kylo Ren.

Fans will have to wait for “Star Wars: Episode 8” to know exactly what Ridley meant when she said this was a “big spoiler.” The movie is set to be released on Dec. 15, 2017 in Australia.
