"The Sims 4" Dine Out Pack will bring experimental food, ownable restaurants and more. EA

In less than a week, the exciting “The Sims 4” Dine Out Pack will be released. As a teaser, EA has teased the things and new features that will make aspiring Sim restaurant owners busy once the update hits.

The new blog update details some interesting activities that “The Sims 4” fans can look forward to. There will be different dining experiences for Sims. Depending on the ambience of a restaurant, Sims can go on a date, enjoy birthday parties, take the family out for some quality dining fun—the possibilities are endless. These are highlighted even more by the Moodlets, which show what the Sims are feeling about the food experience.

Restaurants are customisable depending on the restaurant owner. But of course, what the customer feels about the ambience, service and food should also be taken into consideration, to ensure that the restaurant is a success.

For owners of “The Sims 4” Get to Work expansion, they can also allow switching careers. Sims can hire staffs to expand their restaurants, all in the goal of getting into the entrepreneur industry.

Customisation is a big part of “The Sims 4” Dine Out expansion. EA will introduce new objects to spice up the restaurant looks, such as Warming Lamps or aquariums. Even the signs can be customised, depending on the theme of the restaurant. Players who are not much into building can start off with pre-made restaurants and get inspiration for their own creations.

Interestingly, items for restaurants can also be used in the Sims’ homes. For those who have Sims that fall in love with the food in the restaurant, they can purchase their own Chef Station in the home. From there, they can cook gourmet experimental dishes that can be the talk at the table for the next gathering.

For fans who want a sample of what’s to come in “The Sims 4” Dine Out Pack, the Sims team has prepared a live stream showing off the expansion contents. Scheduled for June 3, 1 p.m. Pacific Time, the live broadcast will feature a few of the gurus, as announced in the official The Sims Twitter. Fans should make sure to tune in to the Twitch channel for the broadcast.
