Ruby Rose gets steamy with Jessica Origliasso in The Veronicas new music video
The Veronicas new music video, "On Your Side," which rekindles the relationship between Ruby Rose and Jessica Origliasso almost after eight years, has finally been released. The real-life couple can be seen getting hot and heavy in the music video that shows the highs and lows of a relationship.
The plot of the video revolves around two women who are in love. It shows both the Australian artistes romancing each other in bed, against a wall and while taking a bubble bath together. Towards the end, the video shows the dark side of their relationship and how drug addiction of one lover causes damage to their beautiful bond.
Jessica of The Veronicans earlier revealed in an interview with NovaFM that the story of "On Your Side" has been inspired from their real-life love story. “It’s me. Me and Ruby Rose. And it is our love story in this video," she said.
Jess also revealed how they have fallen in love again while filming the video. “We’ve been friends for eight years. We just reconnected over doing this video. We sort of just fell in love. It’s pretty cute, honestly," she said. Ruby and Jessica dated in 2008.
The Veronicas, composed of sisters Jessica and Lisa, are popular for their visually appealing videos. In "On Your Side" as well, they have maintained the mark. Praising Ruby’s talent, Jessica had previously told The Daily Telegraph that she helped a lot in effectively portraying the story onscreen. “Lisa and I have always been drawn to unconventional and honest storytelling through our music. Ruby brought this to the forefront in our video,” she said.
"On Your Side" was shot in over just one weekend in Auckland, New Zealand. The video was written and directed by Rose herself.
