Robert Pattinson on 'The Hunger Games' Hype: 'The World Wants Fresh Meat'

The "Twilight" hype will soon be over once the final installment to "Breaking Dawn" hits theatres this November.

Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen, is glad it's finally. In fact, the 26-year old star says he's happy for the hype for "The Hunger Games" because it's enough for people to forget "Twilight".

Edward Cullen's swooning days are over. In November, female fans will bid adieu to Robert Pattinson and his "Cullen"clan plus the "Twilight" franchise. Surprisingly, Robert Pattinson is glad it's finally coming to an end and the actor is more than enthusiastic to cover up his vampire persona.

The same thing goes for Kristen Stewart who plays Isabella Swan, Edward Cullen's love interest on film. Stewart, who stars in the highly-anticipated flick "Snow White and the Huntsman", is also glad the "Twilight" film is soon to be over. So much so that both stars have jumped on a range of films not vampire related.

Kristen is busy with promoting "Snow White and the Huntsman" and her next film, "On the Road". On the other hand, Robert Pattinson stars in the French film, "Bel Ami" and in another flick, "Cosmopolis". According to Robert, "Cosmopolis" gave him the balls in acting of which "Twilight" never did.

"Filming Cosmopolis with Cronenberg changed something in me. It gave me balls," shared Robert in an interview with Premiere Magazine.

"Before, I spent my time doubting myself. As soon as I read a script that I liked, I was working myself up, asking myself if I was good enough. Now, I tell myself: 'F--k it! If they want to hire you, go!'," continued Robert.

What of Robert's thoughts on "Twilight" then?

"I can't believe there's still one more to come," admitted Robert

"I'm curious to reunite with this universe for the last time, to see the effect it will have on me and on the audience. I feel like the frenzy is starting to die down. We step into the era of 'The Hunger Games,' the world wants fresh meat!" added Pattinson.

Given the two films have been neck to neck in comparison alongside "Harry Potter", Robert finally saying "Twilight" is over and handing the torch to "The Hunger Games" is enough to shut some fans up.
