"Rizzoli & Isles" Season 5, episode 16 "In Plain View" is directed by Michael Katleman and written by Michael Sardo. TNT reports that in this episode, the body of an unidentified victim who has been bludgeoned to death will be left on the side of the road. Jane and her team will work with another detective to find the roadside killer responsible for several of these murders. Meanwhile, Maura will be a victim of identity theft and she will enlist Angela’s help to locate the perpetrator.

A preview video of the show's upcoming episode was posted on TNT's official YouTube channel. It shows several scenes including a roadside mugger who strikes down his next victim, Maura inspecting a dead body in a crime scene and a sprinkler that will get accidentally switched on. Unfortunately, the evidence against the roadside killer will get ruined.

"Rizzoli & Isles" is a police procedural and crime drama series based on Tess Gerritsen’s series of novels including "The Surgeon" (2001), "The Apprentice" (2002) and "Die Again" (2014). It was developed for TV by Janet Tamaro. The next Season 5 episode after "In Plain View" is "Bite Out Of Crime" (episode 17). It will air on March 17, 2015.
