"Riverdale" season 2 has no official release date yet, though the cast has been expectedly busy. This time around, leaked photos emerged showing the gang in wedding-themed wardrobe, hinting at someone tying the knot or potentially renewing vows.

In the photos shared by Just Jared, practically the entire cast was in attendance in their wardrobes. What is interesting here is that the boys were wearing kilts instead of traditional pants. Could this be hinting at someone of Scottish descent getting hitched to someone?

Among the "Riverdale" cast mainstays spotted donning kilts include Archie (KJ Apa), Jughead (Cole Sprouse), Fred Andrews (Luke Perry) and Kevin Keller (Casey Scott). For the girls, the photos show Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) and Cheryl Blossom (Madeleine Petsch), among others, sporting blue dresses. The only female cast member who wore something else was Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes), indicating that she is the bride, though it seems unclear as to who.

There are plenty of ways to go about it. The easiest way is seeing Ronnie getting married to a new cast member. That groom-to-be could be someone linked to Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos) or Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols), something that points to a potential fixed wedding. Then again, Veronica may at some point fall in love with someone else in "Riverdale" season 2, which fans are likely to protest.

If Veronica is not tying the knot, the whole set could be nothing more than a special event. "Riverdale" has had plenty of special occasions they celebrate, so it could be a themed party of sorts similar to the ones we saw in season 1.

Also, that moment may come in the latter stages of “Riverdale” season 2. The fact that Fred Andrews is up and about clearly indicates he will get through that gunshot, which he sustained in the season 1 finale. Does this mean Luke Perry has finally come to terms with the showrunners?

The leaked photos follow a previous tweet where Betty was getting his hands dirty trying to be a mechanic. As covered in a previous post, Betty was seen helping out Jughead fix a pickup. Though not seen entirely, that pickup seems to be the same one owned by FP Jones (Skeet Ulrich).
