Last week, Rihanna was forced to cancel two of her shows for her Diamonds world tour because of a nasty bout of laryngitis and flu. Now, the 25-year-old is well and back on the road and continuing her tour, even amidst tardiness and drug use controversies.

New reports reveal, however, that doctors have advised the Barbadian beauty to make serious changes in her lifestyle if she wants to continue operating at the level she's currently in and been attempting to maintain in vain.

In other words, the sexy singer should drastically cut down on her hard partying.

According to insiders, "Rihanna's illness was so severe that doctors warned it could take months for her to fully recover, and there were worries that she'd have to cancel her entire tour...They've told her that she needs to make some serious lifestyle changes, or risk this happening again. This has given her a scare. But Rihanna knows it's partly self-inflicted. She loves to smoke, drink and stay up late. Her body was bound to need a break at some point. She's now on a mission to start looking after herself."

It is known that emotional health is akin and linked to physical health. Our emotions will eventually affect and manifest itself through our health and appearance. Could it be that Chris Brown's current issues are starting to take its toll on Rihanna as well?

The insider further reveals, "RiRi's received death threats, verbal attacks, and has fallen out with some of her best friends recently, including Katy Perry. This has taken a huge emotional toll."

Everybody knows what the pressures and side effects the industry can bring to a star, but that's no excuse for always being late in shows and ignoring physical and emotional health--and having a party-obsessed boyfriend sure isn't going to help.

We just hope Rihanna comes to her senses soon before it's too late.
