Justice Crew told member Emmanuel Rodriguez to leave the group because he was acting like a selfish footballer. John Len Ruela Pierce has revealed why they let go of E-Man.

Rodriguez was the team leader of the group when they were first introduced in “Australia’s Got Talent” in 2010. However, years after winning the reality show competition, the leader was ousted in 2014.

He tweeted in April that it wasn’t his choice to walk away from the group, but stopped short in revealing why they asked him to leave.

People wanna know the #truth... I didn't leave, i got told to leave #realreason #retweet but the show must go on #YOLO

Pearce has hinted that Rodriguez’s diva antics prompted the group to ask him to leave, saying that anyone working in a team should first and foremost be a team player.

“It’s a long story, but in a nutshell, in a group not everyone gets along. He wanted to do his own thing and he had a different mindset for the group,” he told Confidential.

“You’ve got to be a team player because we’re a team. It’s like any team, a football team or an AFL team, you have one star player hogging the ball or wanting the spotlight, it doesn’t make the team better.”

Apart from Rodriguez, Justice Crew also lost two members, Anastasios Tass Repousis (Kid Taz) and Omar Kamara (Scrap), when they left in 2011. Their exit left the group with its current six members, including Pearce and his twin brother Lenny, Lukas Bellesino, Paul Eric Merciadez (Paulie), Samson Cosray Smith and Solo Tohi.

The group’s chart-topping song “Que Sera” is nominated for three ARIA Music Awards, namely, Song of the Year, Best Pop Release and Best Video.
