Coming Soon reveals that Lisa Bonet will appear in Season 4 of “Ray Donovan.” The Emmy nominee will guest star as Marisol, a lethal and unstable woman who has a secret that can damage someone’s reputation. Bonet was notable for playing Denise Huxtable on “The Cosby Show,” which earned her an Emmy nomination. She also appeared in its spin-off, “A Different World.” Bonet has appeared in various films like “Angel Heart,” where she earned a Young Artist Award. She also starred in “Road to Paloma” and co-starred in “Enemy of the State.” The actress also appeared on the series “Drunk History” and “The Red Road.”

The Showtime series will also feature new guest stars, namely Embeth Davidtz, Ted Levine, Gabriel Mann, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Chris Coppola and Billy Lush. Davidtz will play Sonia Kovitsky, a wealthy businesswoman with huge influence in the art world.

Levine will reprise his role as Little Bill Primm, owner of a Nevada casino. Mann will reprise his role as Waller, a lawyer with powerful clients. Cordova will appear throughout the new season as Hector, a boxing champ who befriends Ray. Coppola will recur as Larry, head of security at Primm’s casino. Lush will guest star as Vincent, a police officer who discovers a huge scandal.

In Season 3 of “Ray Donovan,” Katie Holmes had a major role as Paige Finney. The Hollywood Reporter notes that the Finney family will no longer be the next plot’s centerpiece. Showrunner David Hollander added that he is open to adding more to the characters, if the situation allows. Although fans were looking forward to Holmes reprising her role, it is likely that she will not be around in Season 4. The actress is currently working on “The Kennedys: After Camelot,” so she could not be working on both projects at the same time.

“Ray Donovan” is currently filming in Los Angeles. The show is set to air sometime in 2016 on Showtime in the US and Foxtel in Australia.
