Will there be a “Quantico” season 3? There has been speculation in the media that the series, which stars Priyanka Chopra, might face cancellation. However, show producers have not revealed anything positive or negative yet.

Chopra, who is also a popular actress in the Indian film industry, gave out a few details on season 3 in her latest interview with Huffington Post India. Like most of us, Chopra is also unsure about the fate of next season.

She was asked: if she were to choose between doing an Indian film and shooting season 3 of “Quantico,” what would be her decision? "I am in a contract with ABC that says I cannot just leave Quantico midway, especially if they want another season. So I think I'll have to choose that. However, I cannot announce any Hindi film project yet as a lot depends on whether the show will have a season 3 or not,” she said.

The website asked Chopra if she is open to working on other projects in Hollywood. The actress answered yes. "I never came here with a plan or an agenda to find work. Offers just came to me,” she said, adding that she is an actress and will go wherever the work will take her. In the hit TV series, Chopra plays Alex Parrish, a former top recruit in “Quantico” who is also the main suspect in the bombing of the Grand Central.

Let's look at what could be in store for us in episode 21, titled “Rainbow.” According to promos and spoilers aired last week, Alex will try to avert a major terrorist attack. The characters will then make a tough choice that will lead to the revelation of the Collaborators' endgame.

The teaser shows that the impending terrorist attack can be compared to the 9/11 incident. A plane, for instance, may be hijacked. "We have passengers boarding planes who don't know their own phones are gonna turn them into hijackers," a voice says as people board the plane. Alex is shown saying that "the first attack will be today," which gives them less time to prepare for a counterattack. "This is our last chance, our only chance," Alex adds.

The show's executive producer Josh Safran revealed that the next episode will be action-packed. "Quantico" season 2 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC. In Australia, it can be viewed here on the official website of ABC after episodes have aired.
