Since the announcement of “Prison Break” revival hit the Internet, Dominic Purcell, who plays Lincoln Burrows, brother of Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), has been keeping fans update on the latest developments. Last week, he finally posted a photograph on Instagram that had Miller in it. Fans were relieved to see that the two brothers have reunited and are ready to set screens on fire when “Prison Break” Season 5 returns.

“It's a joy working with my friend on something that connects to all parts of the world. We both thank you for your continued support. Much gratitude Dom and Went,” Purcell captioned the photo.

[Spoiler Alert] Meanwhile, Purcell also posted two more photos where he looks pretty bruised. This may mean that after Purcell, with the help of others, frees Michael from a prison in Yemen, he would get into a fight. He captioned the photo, “The #man loves to fight,” implying that his character would do so.

“Prison Break” fans are also speculating that Michael may not be imprisoned after all in Season 5. More behind-the-scene snaps also shows Michael in a middle-eastern cafe and not in jail or jail compound. Another logical explanation would be that the photos are later episode scenes after Lincoln frees Michael.

The above photos show both Michael and Lincoln bruised, probably acquired while breaking out of prison.

Rumours suggest that the “Prison Break” revival will have a time gap of many years where everybody knows that Michael is dead and his romantic partner Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) is married to Scott Ness (Mark Feuerstein) and raising Michael’s son, Michael Jr. However, clues will emerge suggesting Michael is still alive. Lincoln will team up with Sucre, T-Bag and C-Note to plan a prison break.

Sara will also come to know about this and that’s where tensions will arise between Scott and her. But the latest photos do not show Sara.

“Prison Break” Season 5 is expected to air late 2016 or early 2017. The good news is that all the favourite characters in the show have started shooting and it seems Fox has a really suspenseful storyline to return with a bang.
