Freya Mikaelson made her presence felt in “The Originals” Season 2, episode 10 titled “Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire.” Actor Charles Michael Davis, who portrays Marcel in the CW TV series, weigh in on whether the first born child of Esther (Alice Evans) and Mikael (Sebastian Roché) will an ally or an enemy in the second half of “The Originals” Season 2.

In a TV Line interview, “The Originals” cast member Charles Michael Davis shared that Freya’s status as an ally or an enemy in the second half of season 2 is still unknown. Additionally, the actor predicts that his vampire character, Marcel, will only have limited interactions with the oldest Mikaelson sibling once she returns in the flesh.

“Any interactions he has with her would come if she threatens his plans, or tries to hurt any of the people he’s protecting. Or maybe she’ll be an ally, if her interests line up with his,” Charles Michael Davis teased.

When asked how his character will react to Freya coming back, Charles Michael Davis shared in The Hollywood Reporter interview that Marcel will probably be surprised like the rest of the Mikaelson family members because there is another Mikaelson out there.

Charles Michael Davis further added that if Freya returns, his character will get to know the first born Mikaelson child for the first time. “This family member pre-dates Marcel, so Marcel didn't have any interaction with Freya,” the 30-year-old actor stated.

In “The Originals” Season 2, episode 6 titled “Wheel Inside the Wheel,” it was revealed that Freya did not really die from the plague. Dahlia (Kristin Erickson), Esther’s older sister, came and took little Freya away as payment for the deal that Esther made with her.

Watch “The Originals” Season 2 which airs on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network to find out if Freya Mikaelson will be a family ally or enemy when she returns. On Feb. 2, Monday, the CW Network will air episode 12 of the supernatural TV series which is titled “Sanctuary.”
