The shared video clip from “The Originals” Season 2, episode 14 titled “I Love You, Goodbye” teases a scene featuring characters Davina (Danielle Campbell), Josh (Steven Krueger) and Kol (Daniel Sharman). In the brief video clip, Kol Mikaelson has a lot of explaining to do to his upset lady love, Davina Claire, regarding his absence.

Warning: Spoilers ahead! This feature contains major spoilers on “The Originals” Season 2, episode 14 titled “I Love You, Goodbye.”

Kol approached Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Rebekah (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) instead of Davina for help after Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) cursed him to die in “The Originals” Season 2, episode 12 titled “Sanctuary.” In the upcoming episode, Kol will be explaining to Davina why he never showed up or gave her a call after their half-successful rescue mission.

The video clip begins with Davina telling Josh that he does not look so good. Josh describes what he feels as something much worse than the hangover he felt in the past.

Then, Josh feels bad because he remembers going after his boyfriend Aiden (Colin Woodell) as a hungry vampire from Finn’s spell. Davina assures her friend that Aiden was there for him despite his dangerous condition.

Josh feels thankful that Kol was able to “save his ass” by breaking Finn’s spell. Kol suddenly enters the church attic, tells Josh to not mention it and even gives him a blood bag before leaving.

After Josh left, Davina asks Kol where he was last night. Kol explains that he was busy being a hero and saving the day.

According to the episode synopsis in a Dread Central report, Kol will be keeping from Davina the curse that Finn placed on him. Kol will realize as well that time is no longer on his side so he asks help from his sister Rebekah.

The upcoming episode will focus as well on the wedding ceremony of Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Jackson (Nathan Parsons). However, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) suspects that his Original hybrid brother Klaus is up to something during Hayley’s wedding day.

“The Originals” Season 2, episode 14 titled “I Love You, Goodbye” is scheduled to air on Monday night, Feb. 16, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
