The heroes have returned to Storybrooke and that’s where a majority of the story will be focused on in “Once Upon A Time” Season 6. The writers of the TV series have shared some details about what to expect, when the shop returns in October.

[Spoiler alert]

The story of the next season will focus on the main heroes who are in Storybrooke. According to PopSugar the writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have teased that there won’t be a new world that the heroes will have to travel to in the next season, but there will be some “flashing back to other realms.”

With the introduction of Dr. Jekyll (Hank Harris) and Mr. Hyde storyline, the TV series teased the existence of other realms that the heroes did not know about. Henry (Jared Gilmore) also found many story books that were similar to the magical book he owns, which confirms that there are many other worlds for the heroes to explore.

Mr. Hyde has brought all the characters from the Land of Untold Stories and these characters are expected to create some trouble for the heroes in “Once Upon A Time” Season 6. Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) had given Mr. Hyde control over Storybrooke in exchange for some information about how to wake Belle (Emilie de Ravin).

While Mr. Gold is busy trying to wake Belle, the fans may get to meet his mother. The writers have so far not confirmed that Rumple’s mother will be introduced in the next season, but teased that that was a possibility they are exploring. Belle is expected to give birth in the next season and the new character will also get involved with all the plots and schemes of Storybrooke.

The Charmings’ storyline will continue to be about them trying to protect their family and friends, and this time the fight is for the whole of Storybrooke. With the return of the Evil Queen, a major portion of “Once Upon A Time” Season 6 may be dedicated to Regina’s (Lana Parrilla) storyline.
