Google Nexus 5 has only been released in November 2013. But there are rumors that the next Nexus device set to be rolled out later this year.

Initial reports claimed the next-generation Nexus device will be developed by LG (based on LG G3), expected to be launched by the end of May. But a new report suggested the Google Nexus 6 will be manufactured by HTC.

The concept image showed very thin bezels and the exterior will be a poly-carbonate body. The next Nexus device will house boom sound speakers.

Software

Storage

Nexus 6 is expected to have 16 GB and 32 GB of internal storage options. Also, the company might offer a 64 GB variant.

Camera

The camera specifications include a 12 MP rear-facing camera unit with dual tone LED flash and a 5 MP camera unit facing the front. Also, it supports optical image stabilization.

Battery

The upcoming Nexus device will sport a 3,200 mAh battery and rumored to be dust- and water-resistant.
