Fans of the hit CBS drama “NCIS” will have to wait another two weeks to watch a fresh episode. The show has taken a fall hiatus before returning on Tuesday, Dec. 15, for Episode 11 titled “Spinning Wheel.”

[Warning: Spoiler Alert]

According to the episode synopsis shared by Cartermatt, Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) will finally face her marital problems. She and Jake (Jamie Bamber) will figure out how to move forward with their divorce, after Jake admitted to having an affair with a colleague.

Bishop tried to escape the problem by heading home to Oklahoma over the Thanksgiving holidays, as seen in the previous episode. However, she will be going back to face the music in the next episode. Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the other characters were also deeply affected by the discovery of Jake’s infidelity and everyone showed their support in their own way.

Wickersham talked about Bishop’s divorce in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. “It’s a big life change, going through a divorce, and that doesn’t just affect Bishop in her relationship. It definitely affects her work, everything in her life,” she said.

Elsewhere, Ducky (David McCallum) will be “attacked by a man who claims to have information about his half-brother.” The synopsis elaborates that the NCIS team will look into the attack and dig up more information about the death of Ducky’s brother. More heartstrings will be pulled as Ducky looks back at their final moments together. Cartermatt reveals that some flashback sequences will be shown. Actor Adam Campbell will be returning to play a younger version of Ducky.

“Spinning Wheel” will likely be the final episode for 2015. Expect to see the series return after the holidays. “NCIS” airs Tuesdays at 8:00 pm ET on CBS. Season 12 is currently airing in Australia every Sunday at 9:00 p.m.sc AEST on Channel Ten.
