On Tuesday, the “NCIS” episode focuses on just how difficult it is to be part of the crew, as each of them struggles on achieving work-life balance. The latest installment, titled “After Hours,” also shows Agent Anthony DiNozzo’s (Michael Weatherly) efforts to move on from his ex-girlfriend, Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson) by going on a date.

The Mar.1 run will feature Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), Eleanor Bishop (Emily Wickersham) and Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen). Jon Cryer appears on the upcoming episode as Dr Cyril Taft, joining other “NCIS” cast members Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll), Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) and Dr Donald Mallard (David McCallum).

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode, McGee and Delilah find themselves on the opposite ends of the fence in terms of shop talk during dinner. Meanwhile, DiNozzo’s date turns into a snooze fest when he can’t stop sharing about police work with his companion. Elsewhere, the NCIS crew puts their personal plans on hold to prioritise an investigation, after each of them discovers various inaccuracies on the case.

“NCIS” also posted sneak peeks of its Mar.1 episode on its YouTube page. One preview video shows that a case, which the team thought has been open and shut, remains unresolved after all. The trailer also mentions that a dinner and a date get interrupted while NCIS pulls an all-nighter. The entire crew returns to the crime scene and finds new evidence and make up for what they missed.

Meanwhile, despite Michael Weatherly’s impending exit on the show, CBS just announced that it is renewing the high-rated series for two more seasons. TVLine reports that “NCIS” will be back for Seasons 14 and 15. Harmon also has signed up for another two-year deal with “NCIS.”

Fans are excited over these new developments, as the show gears up for its 300th episode airing on Mar. 15.
