“NCIS” Season 12, episode 19, titled “Patience,” airs Mar. 31 on CBS. This week’s new episode focuses on Gibbs and DiNozzo as a tandem in a cold case. Meanwhile, Cote de Pablo recently told fans in a video clip that “there is always hope for Tiva.”

In “NCIS” Season 12, episode 19, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) stumbles upon a fresh lead in a decades-old cold case that they have been working on. McGee (Sean Murray) “gets jealous” for being left out, according to the new episode synopsis from CBS.

This week’s new “NCIS” Season 12 episode is airing back-to-back with the CBS premiere of “The Dovekeepers,” a mini-series starring Cote de Pablo, who played Ziva David on “NCIS” for eight years. While promoting her new project, Cote indulges fans on Twitter by answering their questions via Yahoo TV.

In the Yahoo video, Cote de Pablo says she does miss working on “NCIS,” adding she talks to Michael Weatherly and Brian Dietzen “all the time.” Cote also mentions Rocky Carroll reaching out. On her thoughts about Tiva (a popular fan code for Tony and Ziva), Cote said, “there is always hope” for the romantic characters.

Ziva David’s exit was told in the first two episodes of “NCIS” Season 11. Tony starts a new relationship in Season 12, with ATF Agent Zoe Keates (recurring guest star Marisol Nichols). Cote de Pablo does not mention why she remains hopeful for Tiva; but she tells fans the showrunners may still give Tiva a closure.

The events in “NCIS” Season 12, episode 19 take place after McGee’s Delilah (Margo Harshman) has announced she is coming back to Washington, D.C. The last big episode (NCIS 12x15), where Gibbs and Fornell (Joe Spano) kill Michnev (Alex Veadov), premiered on CBS on Feb. 17.
