Producers of the Naruto franchise, Studio Pierrot, have revealed recently the schedule of episodes for the new “Naruto Shippuden” franchise entitled “Konoha Hiden: The Perfect Day for a Wedding.”

Fans have been waiting for literally years to finally see a spinoff story of who Naruto will end up marrying. Now, thanks to “Konoha Hiden,” Naruto enthusiasts can see upfront all that will happen before and during the most anticipated wedding of the whole series.

A guide to the episodes

There will be a total of five episodes that will be aired starting from the month of February and will end in March. The episodes will revolve around everyone and anyone who played a major role in Naruto and Hinata’s lives. The spinoff story starts with a 30-day backtrack countdown before the actual wedding.

The first two episodes were already released on Feb. 16. It was merged to make an hour long premiere episode. These pilot episodes are entitled “Hidden Leaf Village Story: The Perfect Day for a Wedding, Part 1: Naruto’s Wedding” and “Hidden Leaf Village Story: The Perfect Day for a Wedding, Part 2.” These two episodes are classified as “Naruto Shippuden” episodes 494 and 495 respectively.

The next episode is dated to be released today. It will be the 496th “Naruto Shippuden” episode. The episode will be called “Hidden Leaf Village Story: The Perfect Day for a Wedding, Part 3: Hot Springs and Food Pills.”

It will then be followed by the “Naruto Shippuden” episode 497, which is the fourth episode of the above mentioned arc. “Hidden Leaf Village Story: The Perfect Day for a Wedding, Part 4: Kazekage’s Congratulation” is expected to air on March 2.

The final episode for “Konoha Hiden” will be aired on March 9. It will be the 498th episode of “Naruto Shippuden.” The finale episode is titled “Hidden Leaf Village Story: The Perfect Day for a Wedding, Part 5: The Last Mission.”

A brief summary for the upcoming episodes

The remaining three episodes will most likely continue the story of what Naruto and Hinata’s friends had to go through in order to give them the best wedding gift possible. Furthermore, relationships among partners will also unfold during these times. One of which is the relationship between Shikamaru Nara and Temari.

The third episode will focus on how Shikamaru decided to give his friends a honeymoon gift but needs to ask for a female’s opinion.

Originally he wanted to ask Team 9’s Ino Yamanaka but ends up asking Temari instead. The whole entire day was perceived by Temari as a date well planned by Shikamaru. In the end, Shikamaru explained why he did it and cleared the confusion between them.

The second half of the episode will focus on Ichiraku Ramen's owner, Teuchi, and his dilemma on what to give Naruto. Finally, Teuchi decides to give Naruto a lifetime supply of all you can eat ramen.

The fourth episode will feature the remaining team 7’s original member Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka and their never-ending battle to “become better than the other.” They end up doing a cook off to see if their cooking skills would be enough to impress their future husbands. Chouji became their impartial judge who happened to be poisoned during the taste test. The whole fiasco ended with the two “frenemies” realising that their competition only pushed each other to become better.

The latter part of the episode will focus Naruto’s teacher, Iruka Umino, and how emotional he is with the upcoming celebration. He was even more overwhelmed when his former student asked him to attend the wedding as his father.

The finale episode, the last mission, pertains to the venture that team 8’s Shino Aburame, Akamaru and Kiba Inuzuka will undertake in order to get the rare honey wine which is only available in the Seora-ku black market located in Senju. The idea was suggested by their former team leader Kurenai Sarutobi.

The whole mission made Shino realise his potential of being a teacher. It also showed the start of the relationship of Kiba and Sen-ju resident Tamaki.

The final scene of the episode “Hidden Leaf Village Story: The Perfect Day for a Wedding, Part 5: The Last Mission” will reveal that all of Naruto and Hinata’s friends were able to attend their most memorable day. The episode ends with the couple remembering Neji Hyuuga (for Hinata) and Minato Namikaze (for Naruto) before Hanabi Hyuuga (Hinata’s sister) and Hiashi Hyuuga (Hinata's father) enter the room to fetch them. The complete list is according to a post from Otaku Art.
