Miley Cyrus Relationship WIth Patrick Schwarzenegger Creates More Tension Between Maria Shriver And Arnold Schwarzenegger

Patrick Schwarzenegger's relationship with Miley Cyrus is reportedly causing him his family. With Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, separated parents of Patrick, disagreeing over their feelings toward their son's girlfriend, Miley is said to be driving a wedge on the Schwarzenegger household.

Hollywood Life reports that Patrick Schwarzenegger's relationship with the "Wrecking Ball" singer is aggravating the already tense relationship between Maria Shriver and her estranged husband Arnold. Maria Shriver is said not to like Miley for her son, while Arnold has no problem with the budding romance between the two youngsters. According to the source of Hollywood Life, "Miley and Patrick's relationship is causing a lot of tension in his family. It's creating a fissure in Arnold and Maria's already tense relationship - and it's affecting all of their children."

The source also revealed that the more Maria Shriver objects to the relationship between Patrick and Miley, the more Patrick thinks Miley is the perfect girl for him. Arnold on the other hand, thinks the relationship is something to be proud of - showing her off around Ketchum, Idaho to all of his friends, the source said. The source explained that Arnold is comparing Miley to Madonna "at the peak of her fame", and believes her to be quite a catch for his son. On Dec. 28, Arnold even took the couple as well as some friends to "The Kneadery," one of his favourite breakfast places.

Unfortunately, Maria cannot share the same sentiment as Arnold. Moreover, the NBC correspondent hated that Arnold is asking her to relax and let Patrick date Miley in peace. She does not like that Miley is constantly creating some controversy and that there is a "whole circus" surrounding the singer. She's especially angry that Arnold is fine with the chaos surrounding Miley.

Maria and Arnold's relationship became tumultuous since 2011, when Maria filed for a divorce upon learning about her husband's extramarital affair with a member of their household staff, siring a lovechild. Patrick himself admitted to the affair and the child that was born because of it. Their 28 years of marriage is set to come to an end this year, Mail Online reported back in September. Despite their personal conflicts, Patrick's parents are said to be in amicable and speaking terms for their four children.
