Hulk fans are looking forward to see their favorite big and green character smashing in the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron" film but they will be more thrilled with Marvel's consideration of a standalone "Hulk" film. The latest reports claim that a solo Hulk film could happen in the future after actor Mark Ruffalo teased about it in an interview.

In the Digital Spy interview, Mark Ruffalo was asked if there is a possibility for his character, Bruce Banner or The Hulk, to have a standalone film after "Avengers: Age of Ultron." The 46-year-old actor teased that it could happen.

"I think they are, for the first time, entertaining the idea of it. When we did The Avengers it was basically 'No!', and now there is some consideration for it," Ruffalo teased. However, the actor stated that there is still nothing definitive yet on the reported solo film.

"Not even a skeletal version of what it would be," the actor added. Mark Ruffalo further revealed that if the solo "Hulk" film will push through, he looks forward to going down that road.

The Cinema Blend report suggests that talks between Mark Ruffalo and Marvel have already taken place to avoid conflict with the actor's busy work schedule. The report further noted the previous claims on Marvel's plans when it comes to the standalone "Hulk" film.

Last May, Lou Ferrigno teased that Hulk will once again be "the star" in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" film and the character is set to break out and have a solo film. Previous reports also claimed that Marvel's Phase 3 could feature the storyline on Planet Hulk.

Meanwhile, the Design & Trend report claims the solo "Hulk" film could be in Marvel's Phase 4 since Phase 3 features the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" film, "Ant-Man," "Captain America 3," "Avengers 3" as well as the possible "Doctor Strange" film.

In the much anticipated movie sequel of the Earth's mightiest heroes, Mark Ruffalo reunites with his "Avengers" co-stars Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow). "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 1, 2015.
