A familiar face from the CW Network's TV series "The Vampire Diaries" and its spinoff "The Originals" is now a married man. Actor Sebastian Roché, who portrays Mikael Mikaelson, exchanged wedding vows with actress Alicia Hannah Kim in France.

According to the People report, the private ceremony was held at the Chateau Les Bouysses in Mercues in the south of France last May 31, 2014. There were 50 guests at the wedding that comprises the close friends and family of the bride and groom.

"The Mummy" actor Oded Fehr presided over the wedding ceremony and described the celebration as a French fantasy. "Picturesque rolling grape orchard hills, with a river lazily flowing between them. A 700-year-old castle. Local wine. Baguettes with brie that tastes of heaven. A group of strangers whom will forever be friends... All just a lead in to the most incredible wedding," Fehr shared to the entertainment Web site.

Sebastian Roché, the 49-year-old Scottish and French actor, recounted that he was smitten when he met Alicia Hannah Kim and also knew that she was "the one." The actor revealed that he gave Alicia his number but she never gave him a call.

"We stayed friends nonetheless and thank goodness, turned into something more 2½ years ago. I proposed on the eve of her birthday in Topanga Canyon last year," Sebastian Roché shared. This is the second time for the actor to be married.

Sebastian Roché's former spouse is "The Conjuring" actress Vera Farmiga. The two were married from 1997 to 2005.

At the wedding, actress Alicia Hannah Kim wore the custom gown of silk organza and Chantilly lace that Los Angeles designer Seo Ho Seok created. Kim revealed that the creation of the gown worthy of a fairytale took six months to complete. "I felt like I was floating," Kim shared. Click HERE to see photos.

Sebastian Roché is set to return in "The Originals" Season 2 as Mikael Mikaelson after the spinoff series' Season 1 finale showed how the character was brought back from the Other Side. Mikael will be one of the characters that will bring trouble to Original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) in the second season of the show.
