Kourtney Kardashian Explains Her Nude Photo Shoot Keeps Doors Open To Post-Pregnancy Naked Shoot
After appearing nude for a pregnant photo spread for Du Jour Magazine this month, reality star Kourtney Kardashian is saying that her doors aren't closed to possibly doing another naked photo shoot even when she's not pregnant. Despite keeping her doors open however, she says that the chances are slim.
"I would never say never, but I don't think so," she said. She further explained that the reason behind her naked photo shoot for Du Jour is that she celebrates the shape of her pregnant body. She also posed while pregnant because it is a way for her to capture a very important time of her life. She said that she likes the way that she was able to control the photo shoot in a way that felt authentic to her. Being pregnant, she wanted no one else to control the creative direction that the shoot would take.
Kourtney also said that doing a photo shoot while pregnant allows her the opportunity to show the photos to her children one day and tell them that it was them inside her tummy at that time. She also said in the Du Jour Magazine interview that she was hoping that people would perceive her photos as something artistic. She said that she wanted to express what a woman's body was meant to do through her series of photos.
She said that taking photos while pregnant celebrates the special moment in a woman's life and the beauty of a woman's body without having to think about impressing anybody. Kourtney also said that she did the revealing shoot for herself and not for anybody else. She said that she was sharing the photos only because she thought they were beautiful and she didn't really care much about what other people would think. She also shared that she had done a naked shoot while she was pregnant with her first child Mason and that inspired her to do another one this time around because she loved how the photos with Mason had turned out.
Kourtney and her boyfriend Scott are now parents to Mason who turns 5 on Dec. 15 and 2 year old Penelope. They are getting ready to welcome their third child sometime around the Christmas holidays.
