Kourtney Kardashian Confirms Her Due Date Will Fall Around Christmas

After many months of speculation, pregnant American reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian has confirmed that her due date will fall around Christmas. She also said that because of the time of the year, she is keeping tabs on her doctor to make sure that he will be around when the baby finally arrives.

"I'm going to keep him handcuffed to me!" said Kourtney while talking to Fit Pregnancy magazine. She said that her ob-gyn would have to stay in town during the Christmas season because her due date falls around that time. She revealed that this was also around the same time that her first child Mason was due. In fact, Mason's due date was right smack on Dec. 24. Kourtney shared that even her mom Kris Jenner was concerned that he might come out on the day of her Christmas eve party. Mason wasn't a party pooper after all as he actually came out on Dec. 15.

Mason seems to be used to doing things early as he celebrated his fifth birthday nearly a full month in advance this year. Kourtney put up a big "Nightmare Before Christmas" themed party for him last week where the theme of the decorations was a mix between Halloween and Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas eve parties, Kourtney also revealed that ever since she had kids, she has taken a liking to decorating for the holidays. She said that she would buy a small tree and ask the kids to help her decorate it. Last year, she revealed that they ended up with four trees. Other than that, she also throws pre-Christmas parties for Mason and his friends where they make gingerbread houses.

Kourtney credits her mom Kris Jenner for her inherited enthusiasm in creating a holiday atmosphere for her kids. She said that ever since she was born, her mom never failed to make intricate preparations for lavish celebrations for the Kardashian-Jenner household. Kourtney and the rest of her siblings--Kim, Khloe, Robert Kardashian as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner--have always been very vocal about how much they loved growing up in a household with such a tight bond among many siblings. Kourtney and her boyfriend Scott Disick are now on their way to replicating that with their children Mason and Penelope as well as the little one on the way.
