The success of "The Originals" has made cast member Joseph Morgan, who portrays Original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson, a busy guy. The English actor revealed in an interview that he felt the increase in work load now that the CW spinoff series is currently on its second season.

"I have a lot less free time," Morgan confessed in a Young Hollywood interview last Monday, Nov. 24. The 33-year-old actor admitted that the shift from being a supporting character in "The Vampire Diaries" to a lead role in "The Originals" meant lot more work but the experience is more rewarding and great.

When asked about his relationship with the other "The Originals" cast members, Joseph Morgan revealed that all of them are good friends on the set. The CW star further revealed that he and Daniel Gillies, his on-screen brother Elijah, are really good friends and they have been doing pranks to each other off-screen.

According to Joseph Morgan, the pranks started with Daniel Gillies parking his jeep diagonally across to his parking spot. The actor decided to get back at his co-star by hiding his jeep.

Another prank that Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies did is locking each other outside of their dressing rooms on the set. Then, the pranks ended when Daniel Gillies tried to park really close to Joseph Morgan's car so he will not be able to open the door but the actor hit the vehicle and did some damage to it.

Meanwhile, the upcoming mid-season finale of "The Originals" Season 2 will also make Joseph Morgan's character, Klaus Mikaelson, busy as he protects his daughter and deals with his enemies, Esther (Sonja Sohn) and Mikael (Sebastian Roché). In a Carter Matt report, the official synopsis for the mid-season finale episode titled "The Map of Moments" teased that Klaus and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will be reunited with their daughter, Hope, but the Original hybrid will be teaming up with Rebekah (Claire Holt) in taking down their mother, Esther.

"The Originals" Season 2 airs on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW Network. Episode 9 titled "The Map of Moments" is scheduled to air on Dec. 8, 2014.
