"John Wick" which is distributed by Lionsgate, Summit Entertainment and Entertainment One Films was shown in Australian theatres on Oct. 30, 2014. It was shown in U.S. and Canadian theatres on Oct. 24, 2014. It stars Keanu Reeves (John Wick), Michael Nyqvist (Viggo Tarasov), Willem Dafoe (Marcus), Daniel Bernhardt (Kirill), Adrianne Palicki (Ms. Perkins), Bridget Moynahan (Helen Wick), John Leguizamo (Aureilo), Ian McShane (Winston) and Alfie Allen (Iosef Tarasov). Here is the "John Wick" movie review including the best and worst moments of the film.

"John Wick" was written by Derek Kolstad and directed by Chad Stahelski. It was produced by Eva Longoria, David Leitch and Basil Iwanyk. Its running time is 101 minutes. According to Indiewire, the film's budget range is $20-25 million. Its main plot is about Mr. Wick, a former assassin who had a wife named Helen. Unfortunately, she lost her battle to cancer. To help him cope up with the loss, she gave him a puppy named Daisy. Daisy was given to John after Helen died. John also has a vintage '69 Mustang that some thieves got interested in.

The film is quite violent, which has a lot of torture and killing scenes because it is a movie about assassins, gangs, thieves and revenge. But, Keanu proves that he is back in top form after the lackluster performance of his 2013 film "47 Ronin." Below is a list of the best and worst moments of "John Wick."

Best Moments:

When...

2. It was revealed that John Wick was a retired assassin also known as the "Boogeyman" who used to work for Viggo Tarasov, the head of the Russian crime syndicate in New York. Incidentally, Tarasov is the father of Iosef, Daisy's killer.

3. John singlehandedly kills an entire hit squad sent by Viggo to execute him.

4. John burns Viggo's money and hard drives.

5. Marcus helped John escape from captivity despite his previous agreement with Viggo to kill him.

6. John locates Iosef and kills him, getting revenge for Daisy's death.

7. Ms. Perkins wasn't able to kill John because Winston ordered her execution for breaking the rules at the Continental Hotel.

8. John caught up with Viggo who attempted to escape via helicopter and killed him after their fight.

9. John went to a veterinary hospital to get a dog. He walked the dog on the boardwalk where he and his wife had their last date, before she died.

    Worst Moments:

    When...

    1. Daisy was killed by the robbers who went inside his house to steal his vintage '69 Mustang.
