Jennifer Lawrence sat down on the Ellen DeGeneres show to talk about her career and how her family is handling her Hollywood fame.

The "Hunger Games" actress told Ellen how she feared that the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences, the groups which is responsible in deciding who wins an Oscar might ban her from any nomination or from the board after her mom jokingly stole a ballot.

And while Jennifer can laugh about it now, the actress thinks she would be dumped on all accounts from the Academy. The 22-year-old actress recalled about the incident last Tuesday while she graced "The Ellen Show."

"Recently, I've just gotten into the Academy, which is really exciting for me, that's exciting for any actor," Jennifer said. "And I get a call from my mother while I was in England and she goes, 'I did something hilarious'. And I'm thinking 'What?' And she's like, 'I voted.' And I was like, 'You voted for what?' 'The Oscars.'"

"Fortunately, she did it wrong and mailed it back to herself, so I have got to do it again. I'm going to get kicked out of the Academy," Jennifer shared on Ellen.

The gorgeous star is currently busy promoting her new movie, "Silver Lining Playbook." Jennifer stars along Bradley Cooper who plays as teacher who is institutionalized for depression and then released into care of his mother (Jackie Weaver) and father (Robert De Niro).

Jennifer recently confessed that doing dances in her current movie is harder than filming "Hunger Games." In addition to that, it was Jennifer and Bradley's first time to work with each other but it didn't take too long before the two got close.

"If you miss a target, you still look cool because you're holding a bow and arrow. But when you mess up dancing you just look like an idiot," Jennifer confessed how an awful dancer she was.
