Sydney-born rapper Iggy Azalea no longer considers Australia her native land despite coming back to the country as one of the judges in the reality singing show “X Factor Australia.”

Born Amethyst Amelia Kelly, the 26-year-old hip-hop artist arrived at the Sydney Airport on Thursday to perform at a Google-sponsored corporate event at the Hordern Pavilion.

But the “Fancy” rapper is not returning to the United States any time soon due to an extended stay to attend the “X Factor” live shows. Azalea joins Malaysian-Australian singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian and American singer-actor Adam Lambert in the judging panel of “X Factor Australia,” which premieres on Oct. 3 on Channel 7.

Before her trip though, Azalea admitted that she no longer considers Australia as her homeland.

“I mean, to be honest with you, my home is in America. I’ve lived there for a decade, that’s where I live,” she told the Herald Sun.

“It’s great to come back and visit my grandparents, but there is no home connection. It would be like you going home to where you lived when you were nine, I kind of don’t associate with that anymore.”

But shortly after being announced as one of the new “X Factor Australia” judges, Azalea said she “can’t wait to get home.”

Raised in Mullumbimby, Azalea moved to the US when she was 16 years old to pursue a career in hip-hop but the blonde artist admitted that she remains an Australian citizen.

Billed as “Australia’s most famous rapper” by the Washington Post, Azalea was also referred to as the “World’s Most Hated Pop Star” by Cosmopolitan. She debuted on international entertainment news headlines after releasing her debut album “The New Classic” in 2014. Among Azalea’s prized recognition are the 2014 ARIA Award for Breakthrough Artist and the 2015 People's Choice Award for Favorite Hip-Hop Artist.
