HTC Nexus 9 is the newest tablet from Google and features the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. Find out the tricks on how to improve user experience, how to enable user accounts and how to get the latest patches for Android 5.0.

User Experience: Accessories, Google Now And Notifications

HTC Nexus 9 has a large screen display which can be used for web browsing, games and office. Google made a special cover for the Nexus 9 with one corner foldable for the camera lens and two corners foldable to become a convenient stand. Another accessory sold separately is a fully-responsive keyboard that can be attached magnetically to the tablet. It allows the user to perform office tasks on-the-go.

For the user interface, modify the cards appearing on Google Now to get feeds, news and updates to relevant topics. Swipe up from the button of the virtual home screen button to access information needed for Google Now customisation. Filtering and managing the notifications is similar on Motorola Nexus 6 by going to Settings > Sounds and Notifications. Here, users can modify the privacy level of contents displayed by notifications on the lock screen. Users can also block notifications from certain apps such as games by tapping and holding on the notification, clicking the gear icon and selecting "block."

Multiple User Accounts Enabled

It is possible that friends and family members will ask to borrow your Nexus 9 tablet which could expose private contents or access services you do not want to. Go to Settings then select on Users to add another user profile or restricted profiles. Options included on these profiles can range from prohibiting access to apps up to preventing use of services such as making calls or sending SMS. User Accounts on HTC Nexus 9 works similar to accounts featured on Windows OS.

Entertainment Division: Games, Speakers, Music And Movies

HTC Nexus 9 is equipped with 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 Dual Denver processors clocked at 2.3 GHz, 192-core Kepler GPU, 2 GB of RAM and OpenGL ES 3.1 from Android 5.0 Lollipop to support games with high graphics. Large size gaming apps can also be downloaded on Nexus 9 due to its high storage capacity of up 32 GB.

For maximum audio experience, use the HTC BoomSound and the dual front-facing speakers on games, music and movies and dual microphones for audio recording. QXGA or 2048 x 1536 resolution supports high quality video playback and streaming via YouTube or third party apps while IPS LCD technology enables users to watch movies in multiple angles.
