The Season 4 of Netflix's critically-acclaimed original series “The House Of Cards” is scheduled to release on March 04, 2016. The previous three seasons of "House of Cards" premiered in February.

On Tuesday night, Netflix announced the premiere month of “The House Of Cards” Season 4 via a faux commercial in the middle of CNN’s fifth republican presidential debate.

“House of Cards” is a political drama series following the life of Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey). The first season showed him and his wife, Claire Underwood (Robin Wright), plotting to overthrow President Garrett Walker (Michel Gill) after he was passed over for the secretary of state. He succeeded in his malevolent game in "House of Cards" Season 2, and Walker was forced to resign.

The Season 3 of "House of Cards" opened with Underwood as President, serving the remainder of Walker's term, and it wrapped up with Frank running for President and Claire walking away from his life.

"House of Cards" Season 4 is set to focus on Frank and Claire's fractured relationship, and Frank's presidential election campaign. In the first trailer of the new season, which announced the premiere date of "House of Cards" Season 4, Frank is seen saying, "America, I'm only getting started."

Based on the U.K. miniseries of the same name, the U.S. version offers a behind-the-scene look at the greed and corruption in American politics.
