Moving on and starting fresh seem to be the central theme of the next “Home and Away” episode. On Wednesday, Billie Ashford (Tessa De Josselin) doesn’t go into labour despite her earlier fears. It’s interesting to see, however, whether she and VJ Patterson (Matthew Little) would pursue their plans of getting married – it seems the universe is working against their plans to get hitched.

Meanwhile, Billie’s best friend is also put into the spotlight at Summer Bay. It seems Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo) has finally accepted that romance with Justin Morgan (James Stewart) simply isn’t meant to be. The upcoming episode also features other “Home and Away” cast members Hunter King (Scott Lee), Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno), Mason Morgan (Orpheus Pledger), Zac Macguire (Charlie Clausen) and Martin “Ash” Ashford (George Mason).

“Home and Away” stars Nate Cooper (Kyle Pryor), Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee), Brody Morgan (Jackson Heywood), Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast), Matt Page (Alec Snow), Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou), Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller), Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher), Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker), Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger), Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) and John Palmer (Shane Withington).

Back to the Bay reports that on Wednesday, it dawns on Phoebe that she has focused so much in Justin’s family drama that she has forgotten her own life. Meanwhile, Billie doesn’t give birth, but Ash continues to be suspicious why VJ decided to remain as Billie’s boyfriend and soon-to-be husband.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the upcoming episode on its official website. In the trailer, VJ tells Billie that she couldn’t give birth yet – it’s too premature. “Tell the baby that,” Billie replies. Meanwhile, Olivia explains to Mason that she’s not using him to get over Hunter. Zac, on the other hand, advises Hunter to move on, just like what Olivia’s doing. “I just love her,” Hunter says. Elsewhere, Phoebe refuses to talk to Justin after he didn’t reciprocate her profession of love before.

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Evie immediately regretted kissing Matt and geared up to leave. A knock heard at Matt’s door and when Evie opened, she saw Zoe. While Matt was with Zoe, he clearly can’t get his mind off Evie and made an excuse that he’s not feeling well. Matt shared what happened with Roo, who was thrilled for them. Evie, on the other hand, confided in on Brody. Roo advised Matt to tell Evie how he feels – he might be surprised how it turns out.

Later, Matt heeded Roo’s advice and laid out his feelings for Evie. He said he’s willing to wait until she’s ready, and that he ended things with Zoe. Evie still had her hesitations since they’re best friends, but Matt insisted it could be a good start for a romantic relationship. He started to leave and told Evie to think about what he said – no matter what her decision is, he’s still going to be her friend.

Mason went over to Olivia’s to bring food after their walk, which was obviously just an excuse to get closer to her. The next day, Mason started to tell Olivia his feelings for her when she stopped him, saying her life is a mess right now and going out with him might make it worse. She said she’s not closing her doors, but she’s not ready yet to jump into anything new. Later, however, she decided to go out with Mason, but just to hang out and have lunch.

At Salt, Hunter arrived and interrupted Olivia and Mason’s lunch. Tension grew between the two men and Mason asked Hunter to back off. Zac pulled his son before things got worse. Olivia followed Hunter to lash out at him for treating her that way. “I could hang out with whoever I want,” she said, while Mason was watching them from afar. When Hunter asked how she could hook up with someone so quickly, Olivia said it’s the only way she could get over Hunter. Taken aback, Mason left.

Ash continued to have his doubts about VJ and his decision to stick with Billie despite her betrayal. Ash approached Billie at the beach, and he questioned why the baby should be named Patterson instead of Ashford. Billie insisted that it will be a good start for the baby to have a family. Ash, on the other hand, countered that at worst, VJ and Billie might break up and the baby would be stuck with another surname.

Later, Billie shared Ash’s concerns about her relationship with VJ. Billie admitted that she also couldn’t help but feel like it’s too good to be true. Determined to prove to Billie and Ash that he’s really committed, VJ asked Billie to get married and make everything official. They immediately got dressed and drove off. On the way, Billie began to feel cramps and reckoned that she’s going into labour.
