Several fan-favourite TV shows went on winter hiatus before the year 2014 ended. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the second wave of these shows. Mark your calendars! The channels are ready to resume the run of these well-loved shows with some explosive episodes. Some of the most anticipated returning shows of the year are "Game of Thrones," "Grey's Anatomy," and "How to Get Away With Murder." Here are few details--including airdate and what to expect related to these shows.

1. "The Walking Dead": Almost after two-month break, "The Walking Dead" will return with its remaining episodes of Season 5 on Feb. 8, 2015. The promo is already out giving a glimpse at Episode 9 and what's next for Rick Grimes, Maggie, Glenn, Daryl and others.

2. "Grey's Anatomy": "Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 returns on Jan. 29, 2015 with Episode 9 that delves further into the ongoing storylines and introduces some new ones. Fans are eager to see what's in store for Meredith and Derek as Derek is ready to take up the new job away from Seattle. Furthermore, Jackson and April are expecting their first baby, who is suffering from severe birth defect. Tension continues to stir up between Arizona and Callie, and Alex and Jo. Thus, it will be interesting to see what's next for these well-loved TV couples.

3. "Game of Thrones": One of the most highly anticipated TV show is "Game of Thrones." The show is expected to return with its all new Season 5 in April, 2015. However, before that happens, fans must brace themselves for a special featurette "Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life" set to be aired on Feb. 8 that will include some behind-the-camera clips and teaser giving a glimpse of new characters and Houses.

4. "How to Get Away With Murder": It is Shonda Rhimes newest legal drama that has managed to create quite a stir among the viewers with its dark yet intriguing storyline. The show returns with its Episode 10 on Jan. 29 for the run of its remaining six episodes. After learning who killed Sam, fans are now eager to find out who killed Lila Stangard. Will Rebecca be acquitted of the murder charges?

Besides the abovementioned TV shows, there are few more worth mentioning here. Some more exciting, returning TV dramas are more popular TV shows returning in 2015.
