Until now, 343 Industries has been very coy about when "Halo 5: Guardians" is coming. For the most part, release dates seem to be announced near the expected month. And since the Xbox exclusive is coming in 2015, fans are still holding their breaths for the announcement.

When the release date had been reportedly leaked by a new employee of 343 Industries. IGN reports that the photo had a countdown right below the banner of the developer, as seen in the link. And the countdown has "382" on it. Speculations arose that this could mean the number of days remaining until the release date. But Microsoft has already confirmed that the rumoured release date is false.

Still this means that there is no release date yet given for "Halo 5: Guardians." But this does not mean that fans don't have anything to look forward to in order to fulfill their craving for some more Halo.

The "Halo" journey is also starting off earlier than the release of the "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" on Nov. 11. Microsoft and developer 343 Industries has recently announced that they will be allowing fans to get into the live broadcast featuring sneak peeks, interviews and some more gameplay over at Twitch, Xbox Live and Xbox.com.

Over at the Xbox Wire, it was announced that there will also be other festivities taking place to the dates leading to the release date of the new collection. For instance, fans who are in Los Angeles in Nov. 10 can take part by visiting the living museum of Halo to see the history of the franchise. Fans who are unable to do this can still look forward to the live broadcast for the HaloFest Livestream.

This will showcase some new gameplay sneak peeks for "Halo 5: Guardians" featuring exhibition matches between pros for a glimpse of the multiplayer. The premiere of "Halo: Nightfall" will also feature the first episode of the live-action digital series. Fans can also get some more exclusive information from 343 Industries via interviews with the developer.

Lastly, a two-day global "Halo" tournament will also happen on Nov. 8 and 9. The pot prize of $50,000 and the chance to play the beta of "Halo 5: Guardians" is at stake. The highlights of the event will be featured in the HaloFest broadcast on Nov. 10. Make sure to enlist for the HaloFest broadcast in the link here.
