The upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” release is drawing closer. Along with it are the making of several interesting items which showcases the main characters of the movie.

The famous action figure-making company, Hasbro, has revealed that their next batch of figures will include the character designs from "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." This means that new set of styles and outfits will be worn by the lovable members of Star-Lord’s rowdy group and, of course, their new enemies.

First off is the news of having the new character Adam Warlock join the action figure franchise. Although both of them might not actually have their contribution on the movie, they play very particular roles in the original comic story.

Adam Warlock, who is also known as Him, has had a connection with Gamora during her younger days. Gamora was hand picked by the god Thanos to become Magus’ assassin. According to the Marvel comic book history, Magus is Adam Warlock himself in an alternate universe.

Adam Warlock/Magus will be one of the many action figures that Marvel collectors will be dying to get their hands on. This figure will be having two interchangeable faces, one for Adam Warlock and the other for the Magus version.

The official list of the new action figure outfit styles for the original “Guardians of the Galaxy” members has also been revealed. These include a new outfit for Rocket Raccoon, Baby Groot, Nebula and Gamora. Their figures will highlight the outfits that they will soon be seen in. The above mentioned designs will be in line with their movie outfits.

Star-Lord’s action figure will be a replica of the actor Chris Pratt. This figure will also be wearing the red long coat that Peter Quill will be wearing in the movie. These details are based on a report from Marveltoynews.

Furthermore, there is also another addition in line with Hasbro’s “build-a-figure" character: the third female member of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” action figure wave, Mantis. She will be the build-a-figure muse this time around.

Other action figures that will be included in this “Guardians of the Galaxy” wave are Ex Nihilo and Death Heads II. It is quite vague as to why these two characters are added in this particular wave. Their appearances in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” story is minimal, but if a person is deemed to be a Marvel story enthusiast, these two character inclusions will be of no surprise to them.
