Many of the fans may be wondering who Peter Quill's father will be in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." The director has revealed that at least one name can be scratched off the list of potential people who can fill the role.

James Gunn shared a "work sheet" from his upcoming movie "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." A picture of the worksheet was posted on the director's official Facebook page. It contains the list of candidates who can be Peter Quill's father in the next movie.

The list of candidates includes the names of comic book characters Galactus, J'son of Spartax, Tony Stark from the future, Martinex, Howard the Duck, Ben Parker, Luke Skywalker and Kevin Bacon. The only name that has been struck off the list is that of the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un with a note on the side that says "nope."

Kim Jong Un has been a subject of huge discussion in Hollywood after the release of the movie "The Interview" was cancelled. Sony also had to face more problems after some hackers reportedly from North Korea leaked email correspondence of senior executives of the company. According to a report by ABC, the hackers also threatened a 9/11 style attack on those who wanted to go to the theatres to watch the movie.

The controversy surrounding the film is that the main plot of the movie revolves around two people from a celebrity tabloid show who travel to North Korea to meet Kim Joung Un. They are however recruited by the CIA to assassinate the North Korean leader in the movie.

North Korea has reportedly denied any involvement in the hack attack on Sony. Meanwhile, several celebrities took to the social media site Twitter to defend "The Interview" and condemn the hackers. Jimmy Kimmel said in a tweet that the cancellation was an "act of cowardice" and Steve Carell called it a "sad day for creative expression."

James Gunn showed his concerns for the cancellation by the message about "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" and Peter Quill's father. Many of the fans found the message to be very funny, and it has more than 9,500 likes and more than 3, 400 shares on Facebook already.
