Nick Burkhardt is facing a difficult decision in “Grimm” season 6 finale. He is torn between his love and duty as a Grimm as he fights his strongest enemy ever.

On Friday, the final battle between the Grimm and Zerstorer is happening. Nick’s (David Giuntoli) has no choice but to turn to his ancestors for strength to defeat the skull-face villain.

A promo teaser for “Grimm” season 6 finale suggests that Zerstörer finally found the house in the woods where the group hides Diana (Hannah R Loyd) and Nick’s son, Kelly. The clip also shows Nick telling Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) to take his son and leave.

Then Adalind (Claire Coffee) is seen screaming at the people in the cabin to run while the Zerstörer is closing in on her. Will Adalind sacrifices herself to save her children?

Zerstorer has two missions, to get Diana (Hannah R Loyd) as his child bride and to retrieve the stick. Both are important to Nick. Diana is the daughter of the woman he loves, while the stick is the last missing piece for Zerstorer to achieve his full power.

Which one will be sacrificed? Can the Portland detective save both? Nick already lost two friends, Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee), in doing so. Either way, his decision will have a grave repercussion.

Elsewhere, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch), Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) find a rare potion that may help them defeat the villain. The group also earlier figured out the secret of the stick.

In the previous episode, Monroe, Rosalee and Eve uncovered that the stick is actually a long-hidden part of a powerful staff that Zerstorer now has. The staff was broken into a hundred of pieces decades back.

Zerstörer was able to bring it back together except for one piece, Nick’s stick. Zerstörer needs to have the last cut to have his staff to full power.

Giuntoli earlier teased that the stick would play a huge part in “Grimm” series finale. "The stick is not just going to be a little stick. It's the worst stick in the world," he told TV Guide.

"Grimm" co-creator David Greenwalt had also hinted to TV Guide in a separate interview that the detective would regret his decision to depend too much on the stick. Greenwalt said it will be very tragic for Nick when it happen. The stick had saved the life of Nick and Eve in the past.

Don't miss "Grimm" season 6 finale on Friday at 8:00 p.m. EDT on NBC in the US. "Grimm" season 5 currently airs on Channel 7 in Australia.
