A big action sequence of “Game of Thrones” season 7 has confirmed to be featured in episode 6. This will be a major battle scene against the army of the dead beyond the Wall, with some major characters on the show.

[Spoiler alert]

Director Alan Taylor was spotted together with cast members Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont). The three of them signed a book for a fan, a picture of which was posted on Twitter. This confirms previous reports of the two characters coming together for a major scene in the north.

Jon Snow, Jorah, Sandor (Rory McCann) and Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) will all reportedly head north of the Wall in the next season in order to capture a wight (reanimated corpse). In the process they will end up fighting a huge army of the Night King.

According to a report by Watchers on the Wall, this action sequence will be in episode 6 of “Game of Thrones” season 7, as Taylor will be directing it. Apart from the main cast members there will be 300 extras working as wights for this battle scene.

This is expected to be the climactic episode which has a major battle scene, just like last time, and the fans can expect some shocking deaths. The report points out that Taylor directed the “Fire and Blood” episode of the first season and was heavily involved in the second season. He is now returning after many years, during which time the show has delivered episodes like “Blackwater,” “The Rains of Castamere” and “The Battle of the Bastards.”

Expectations are high for Taylor to deliver in “Game of Thrones” season 7. Episode 6 will be the one before the finale. There will be only seven episodes this time around, and the season after this will be the last for the show.
